What this is

Every set here is a publicly posted recording. For each one you get the full running order, the cue time of each track, and a player that starts at that cue time. Click 41:36 and you hear 41:36.

Where the tracklists come from

The track IDs come from audio recognition, not from us listening. That works well in the middle of a set and badly at the edges: a record can be missed, mislabelled, or matched to something it only resembles. Some IDs here are wrong. Some sets are incomplete, which is why one missing five IDs says so on the front of its card instead of hiding it.

Treat a very high play count with particular suspicion. A handful of records match far more often than anyone actually played them, which is a fact about the recogniser rather than about the scene. The charts page says so where it matters.

What it does not claim

This index does not measure anything. It counts what a recogniser heard. It does not tell you which record landed hardest in the room. That is a separate problem and a separate product.

Nothing is hosted here. Every player is a SoundCloud embed pointing at the uploader's own post, so plays and follows go to them.

Scope

House, techno, trance and their neighbours, 2187 sets so far. It grows by adding sets.

Corrections

An ID that is wrong is worse than an ID that is missing. Mail charts@nine71.ai with the set and the cue time.
